Año del conejo // Year of the Golden Rabbit

Just for the big number of people that celebrates this day, we, at least, have to know about it. I believe that know about different cultures always is good to be enriched. 

Today starts the celebration of the Chinese New Year (農曆新年) that in China it is known as "Spring Festival” (春节, 春節). The Year of the Golden Rabbit begins today, February 3, 2011 and ends on January 22, 2012. It is a period is full of celebrations, family visits, special foods and fireworks. It is one of the most important festivals in China.

Aunque solo sea por la gran cantidad de personas que celebran este día, debemos de estar al corriente. Creo que conocer diferentes culturas siempre bueno y enriquecedor.   

A partir de hoy se celebra el Año Nuevo Chino (農曆新年), más conocido, en China, como la Fiesta de la Primavera (春节, 春節). El Año del Conejo empieza hoy, 3 de febrero de 2011 y termina el 22 de enero de 2012. Según la tradición china, es un periodo lleno de celebraciones, visitas de familiares, alimentos especiales y fuegos artificiales. Es uno de los festivales más importantes de China.
