I am not gonna explain you more details… I prefer if you go and you tell me what do you think about it!

Seductora, mágica y divertida. Me pasé la película con una sonrisa en la boca y sintiéndome a gusto y feliz. Después de más de 30 largometrajes, Woody Allen continúa ofreciendo imaginación y frescura manteniéndose como no, fiel a sí mismo. 

No te explicaré más detalles, ves a verla y cuéntame que te parece.

Para mí, altamente recomendable para pasar un buen rato.

De compras, necesito una roca... (Rock shopping)

Looking for a rock, but not a rock start!

Have you ever gone for a rock shopping? I have to tell you, it is really funny experience and even more, if is your first time. I never thought about buying a rock, so was kind of weird, at least for me it was, but, if you think about it, it´s a good business.

A place were the ground is full of different rocks, small, big, brown, grey, with more than one color… and which one is the best? This one looks good, but that one I think it could be better for where I want to put it… I prefer this color but this one it´s so big… ok, I found my rock, this one inside the cage!!! 

Me: Men, can you help us please, we would like to buy this rock…

Men: Sorry madam, but if you like the one in the cage, you should buy the whole cage….

Me: Oh men… let’s start all over again…

After few more minutes we chose our rock!

Me: Sorry men, we know already, what about this one? How much money we are talking about?

Men: about 20 bucks!

Me: ok! That´s our rock!!!

¿Alguna vez has ido a comprar una roca? Una experiencia cuanto menos divertida y, aún más si es tu primera vez.  Puedes llamarme inculta, pero nunca me había imaginado que existían “tiendas” de rocas. Aún menos, me había imaginado ir a comprar una; una experiencia diferente, que, si lo piensas bien, es un buen negocio.

Un lugar donde el suelo está lleno de piedras, grandes, pequeñas, grises, marrones, de más de un color… ¿cuál es la mejor? Esta es bonita, pero esa otra creo que es mejor para el lugar donde la quiero poner… prefiero aquella de otro color pero es demasiado grande… ya está, ¡he encontrado nuestra roca!, la que está dentro de la jaula!

Yo: disculpe, ¿podría ayudarnos?, nos gustaría comprar esta roca…

Chico: disculpe señora, pero si quiere la que esta de dentro de la jaula se ha de llevar la jaula entera…

Yo: mierda… a buscar una nueva…

Después de mirar un poco más, escogimos la adecuada.

Yo: disculpe de nuevo, ya tenemos elegida la que queremos, ¿Cuánto nos costaría esta roca de aquí?

Chico: serían unos 20$.

Yo: ok, ¡ya tenemos nuestra roca!

Queen´s Day in Holland, Orange Everywhere!

Orange clothes, hats, wigs, capes, feather boas, face or body paint… It´s time to enJoy and this is why I am going to suggest you a hilarious plan for the weekend: Queen´s Day in Holland! Are you going to miss such a funny opportunity?

Every year, on April 30th Holland celebrates Queen´s Day (in Dutch: Koninginnedag), the Dutch national holiday in honor of the late Queen Juliana’s birthday. A huge party across the whole city, it is combined with the market in the streets of the whole city. The full list of goings on is too long to include here. So, you can be sure to go across outdoor parties with bands and DJs on several squares and in parks throughout the city.  

If you want to get some coins to eat or drink you should participate of the Vrijmarkt (Free market): an occasion to trade all things that are unnecessary at home with the neighbors and visitors to town. Prices are symbolic and the most important is to have fun.

Ropa naranja, sombreros, capas, pantalones, camisetas, caras pintadas… Es hora de disfrutar y por eso te sugiero una divertidísima opción para el fin de semana: Queen´s Day en Holanda! ¿Te vas a perder una divertidísima oportunidad como esta?

Cada año, el 30 de Abril, Holanda celebra su fiesta nacional, el Día de la Reina (en holandés: Koninginnedag) en honor al cumpleaños de la su reina Juliana. El mercado en la calle se combina con una enorme fiesta que ocupa cada rincón y cada calle. Son tantas las actividades que no entrarían en este post, así que asegúrate de no dejarte calle sin pisar para poder ir de fiesta en fiesta con sus bandas y sus DJs…

Si quieres sacarte unas monedas extra para comer y beber participa en su Vrijmarkt (Mercado en la calle). Una ocasión perfecta para intercambiar y vender aquello que te sea innecesario con vecinos y visitantes. Los precios son simbólicos, se trata de pasárselo en grande.

¡Una ocasión perfecta para conocer Holanda!
